This Framework Agreement under NEC terms and conditions included hardware comprising of MCC, LV panel design and documentation, manufacture, testing, delivery, installation and commissioning and software, comprising of the HMI and PLC design, writing of functional design specification (FDS) and incorporating the software design specification (SDS) documentation, FAT (including electrical function testing) and SAT/commissioning.
Having successfully delivered the first three years of these works SEW extended the contract to maximum allowable term of 3x12 month periods. It was then extended a further 12 months. In this time we provided for SEW's MCC & Systems Integration needs across their full AMP5 programme.
Under this framework, the following units were supplied:
- 30 no. Form 4 Type 3 MCC's conventional
- 7 no. Form 4 Type 3 MCC's Profibus
- 15 no. Form 2 Chemical Dosing Controllers
- 2 no. Incomers Distribution Panels
A sample project that was part of this framework was Pembury Water Treatment Works. Pembury is a key facility for South East Water. This project involved the upgrade of several LVAC Switchboards and Motor Control Panels.
